a Lurid Tale of Priestly HomoSexual Sex a la Maciel...

This is some of the ugly stuff that unblidled sex sex can do

But remember, Maciel did not pay; he had his preadolescent, adolescent and yound adult seminarians and priests at his disposition. He had an insatiable lust for male flesh...Ambition and Sex, his only two passions..

"A Catholic priest swiped collection-plate donations to pay for drug-fueled sex romps with a heavily muscled S&M “master,” a new lawsuit charges.

Parishioners claim the Rev. Peter Miqueli has stolen at least $1 million since 2003 while leading churches on Roosevelt Island and in The Bronx, where he is currently pastor of St. Frances de Chantal in Throggs Neck.
Their suit alleges he used the money to act out unholy fantasies as a sexual “slave,” blowing $1,000 at a time on bondage-and-discipline sessions where a “homosexual sex ‘master’ ” — identified in court papers as Keith Crist — “would force Father Miqueli to drink Keith Crist’s urine.”
Miqueli also spent $60,000 in 2012 alone for “illicit and prescription drugs” he used with Crist, bought a $264,000 home in Brick, NJ, and paid $1,075.50 a month for his master’s East Harlem apartment, court papers say.
Plaintiffs’ lawyer Michael G. Dowd also said that Miqueli at one point had Crist living in the rectory at St. Frances de Chantal but that Crist had since been kicked out.
The suit, which was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday, also charges that the Archdiocese of New York and Cardinal Timothy Dolan knew about Miqueli’s “illegal scheme” and did nothing to keep it from growing into “the monster it is today.”
“This lawsuit seeks to finally put an end to this truly sinful conduct so that St. Frances de Chantal parish can regain the strength, spirituality and faith it once had before Father Miqueli arrived,” the court papers say.

The suit says that during the summer of 2014, maintenance workers at St. Frances de Chantal saw “several unstacked piles of cash, each approximately one foot high, scattered throughout Father Miqueli’s rectory residence.”
In addition to skimming $20 bills from the collection plate there, Miqueli ripped off money raised to buy a new pipe organ at his former church, St. Frances Xavier Cabrini on Roosevelt Island, according to the suit.
He also put Crist in charge of the Cabrini thrift shop, where Miqueli “misappropriated and diverted money . . . for his own personal use” and destroyed financial records to cover up the theft, the suit says.
An on-and-off girlfriend of Crist’s, Tatyana Gudin, told The Post that the hulking bodybuilder once hurt his knees while having sex with Miqueli in a bathtub.
The suit seeks unspecified damages from Miqueli, Crist, Dolan and the archdiocese on grounds that include negligent supervision, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and unjust enrichment.
Dowd said, “I feel really bad for the parishioners,” and he estimated that Miqueli “had to have taken $1 million from each parish.”

“We’ve done a lot of homework. This is a bad guy,” Dowd said.
He added, “The thing that’s really amazing to me is: How could this guy be acting this way for nine years or so and the archdiocese does nothing?”
A spokesman for the archdiocese said it “has . . . taken these allegations seriously and has been investigating them.”
Crist hung up on a reporter, and Miqueli declined to answer a call through a church receptionist."

St. John's Abbey, Collegeville, accused monk reports 200 sexual encounters.

itemprop

Victim Troy Bramlage, with attorney Jeff Anderson, spoke to the media Tuesday. Their lawsuit forced St. John’s Abbey to release the files on priests credibly accused of child sex abuse. “So many offenders were allowed access to so many kids for so many years,” said Anderson.

In a major lawsuit monks as this prestigious school are accused of widespread sexual abuse of minors and students under their care

One priest reported 200 sexual encounters, including some with students at St. John’s University and prep school.
Another recorded the names of dozens of boys he brought to a cabin, some of whom he sexually abused.
Another abuser was paid $30,000 by St. John’s Abbey to support him as he left the clergy.
These are among findings from the first batch of personnel files from St. John’s Abbey in Collegeville made public Tuesday. The abbey was required to release its internal files on priests credibly accused of child sex abuse as part of a lawsuit settled earlier this year. It marks the first time the abbey — implicated in clergy abuse cases for two decades — has opened its confidential files.

Woman Sex Abuser gets Life in England

A woman at the centre of a "gruesome" child sex abuse ring which passed children round "like toys" has been given a life sentence.
Marie Black, 34, of Norwich, was convicted at Norwich Crown Court of 23 charges, including rape and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Victims were abused at parties and may have been offered in raffles.
"The case is the most harrowing it has been my misfortune to try," said Judge Nicholas Coleman.
"I and the jurors had to listen to the truly gruesome detail of what took place.
"Your conduct towards these children can only be described as utterly depraved - the children were subjected to sexual abuse of the worst kind.
"They were simply passed around like toys," he said.

Protect the public

The charges related to five young children over a 10-year period.
Michael Rogers, 46, from Romford, north east London, was found guilty of 14 counts, including cruelty, rape and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Jason Adams, 44, from Norwich, was convicted of 13 similar counts.
Both were sentenced to 24 years.

Analysis: Julian Sturdy, BBC East

The severity of the sentence means Marie Black has become one of the UK's most notorious paedophiles.
Yet still she cries her innocence. She sobbed quietly and occasionally shook her head as her sentence was read out.
Judge Nicholas Coleman said he had "had enough" of legal argument from her barrister and went at it both barrels.
For Marie Black life inside will be tough. Already she has had to move prisons several times.

The men were also made subject to sexual harm prevention orders, which allows the court to impose restrictions deemed necessary to protect the public.
All three had denied the charges against them, with Black accused of 26 counts and found guilty of 23.
Seven others stood trial, six of whom were cleared of all charges.

'Corrupted woman'

Judge Coleman said: "You, Marie Black, were the constant factor in all of these crimes.
"The offences included adults conspiring to rape children at so-called sex parties.
"You used them for your own, and for others', sexual gratification."
Black was told she could only be considered for parole after 12 years.

He said there was evidence the children were taken to other parts of the country where they were raffled for abuse by others.
Black did not give evidence and was described by her barrister Sarah Elliott QC as "clearly a vulnerable, corrupted woman".
"The impetus for abusing the children comes from Adams and Rogers," she said.
"She was vilified throughout the trial and was blamed by everybody to exculpate themselves."
However, barristers representing Adams and Rogers rejected the notion that they had manipulated her.

'Naive man'

Isabella Forshall QC, for Adams, said he had no previous convictions for sexual offences and Black was "the common denominator between all the offences."
Ann Cotcher QC said Rogers was a "naive" man who had sought to help Black and was not the instigator of sexual and physical abuse.
Co-defendant Carol Stadler, 59, from Norwich, was found guilty of assault causing actual bodily harm, but cleared of nine other charges including serious sexual assaults.
She is due to be sentenced.
Six others - Anthony Stadler, 63, Nicola Collins, 36, Andrew Collins, 52, Judith Fuller, 31, Denise Barnes, 43, and Kathleen Adams, 85, all from Norwich - stood trial but were cleared of all counts.

Dirty Old Religious Leaders!

Stand up and be counted, Fr. Maciel!

A Major Witness in the Rape Case Against an Indian Guru Has Been Shot Dead

July 14, 2015

Another witness in the case was murdered in January, and seven others have been attacked in recent months

A key witness in an ongoing rape case involving a self-proclaimed Indian religious leader was killed on Friday, the second death and latest in a long string of attacks on those planning to testify against the guru.
The prospective witness, Kripal Singh, was shot by two assailants in the district of Shahjahanpur in the country’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh, Indian broadcaster NDTV reported.
The duo were on a motorcycle and warned Singh not to depose against the “godman,” Asaram Bapu, before shooting him and fleeing. The 35-year-old Singh was then rushed to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries, police said.
Singh was an employee at a transport firm owned by a man whose daughter was allegedly raped by Bapu at his ashram in 2013.
The 74-year-old self-styled guru is currently in prison in the western city of Jodhpur, where that ashram was located, and has been there since September 2013. He was also accused of a second rape by two sisters — which he reportedly perpetrated along with his son — at another of his ashrams in the state of Gujarat two months after initially being jailed.
Akhil Gupta, Bapu’s former cook and a primary witness in the Gujarat rape case, was shot dead in another north Indian town in January, and the Indian Express newspaper reports that police have begun a joint investigation to determine whether he was a victim of the same killers.
Seven other witnesses in the case against Bapu (who is infamous for his 2012 statements blaming the victim of India’s most notorious rape case in New Delhi) have been attacked.
Recent developments in Bapu’s case coincide with multiple deaths connected to another high-profile investigation in India. Two people connected to what is being called the “Vyapam” scandal — a scheme to rig entrance examinations for medical schools and government jobs across the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh — died last week. Those deaths, that of a journalist reporting on the conspiracy and the dean of a medical college who was compiling evidence against those involved, took place under mysterious circumstances and are the latest in a string of close to 40 fatalities since the Vyapam scandal broke in 2013.

How a Priest, Grooms and Sexually Abuses Young Women amid Church and Police Collusion in USA

This disturbing article appeared recently on Huffington Post

It describes abuses that happened at a girls Catholic High School in Baltimore. But this could have happened anywhere and has happened elsewhere.

This long and painful article helps understand the kind of things Fr. Maciel did for decades, inside and outside the Legion, especially with adolescent males...It also helps to understand how Church authorities 'do not want to be bothered' by this subject and tend to dismiss accusations and "protect their own"

The reader can grasp some of the fear and confusion experienced by Maciel's victims: "He is a priest. He is a saint. We are helping him with is illness....If we don't comply we will have to leave the seminary, we will never be ordained, never reach our goal...We are depraved. We like this. We are gay. We cannot get married....."

The malice and depravity of the priest is hard to digest. But we must remembered that we are talking seriously disturbed people who have a charming exterior; they are charming psychopaths, skilled manipulators and controllers who "get away with murder"

Victims of paedophile priests urge action from pope

Victims of paedophile priests urge action from pope

Pope Francis has called for ‘zero tolerance’ of abusive priests

Mexico City:

Victims of sexually abusive priests from across the Americas joined forces on Monday to urge Pope Francis to allow civilian justice to punish paedophiles and those who covered up their crimes.

From the United States to Argentina, Chile, Mexico and other nations, victims issued a letter made public in Mexico City telling the Argentine pontiff that “words are not enough.”
The letter said that only civilian trials and Church reform will put an end to the “great holocaust of thousands of boys and girls who were sacrificed to avoid scandal and salvage the image and prestige of the Catholic Church’s representatives in the world.”
The victims said the pope’s recent admonishments of sex abuse in the Church are “ambiguous and contradictory” because they do not lead to any “institutional process toward truth and justice.”
The letter was read by Jose Barba, one of the victims of Marcial Maciel, the Mexican founder of the ultraconservative Legion of Christ order who died in 2008.
Pope Francis has called for “zero tolerance” of abusive priests since his election in March 2013.
He has asked victims for forgiveness, pledged to combat paedophilia and formed a Church child protection panel.
This month, he issued a strongly-worded letter to bishops warning Roman Catholic clergy they must never try to cover up sexual abuse.
He has also intervened in cases like one in Spain that saw 10 priests accused of sexually abusing an altar boy.
While the pope voiced “great pain” and ordered a church investigation into the case, a Spanish court dropped charges against nine of the clergymen because the accuser waited too long to bring the charges.
At the press conference in Mexico City, some of the victims questioned the pope’s commitment to fighting paedophilia in the Church.
“We demand that the pope, at the very least, live up to his word because we can all make headlines. Enough with the headlines,” said Juan Carlos Cruz, a Chilean victim who said he felt “deeply betrayed” by the pontiff.
Julieta Anazco of Argentina said that when Francis was known as Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio in Buenos Aires, he “never received anybody,” despite requests by victims to meet him.
“We are all very sad and losing hope. We have asked for something effective to be done. We want (abusive priests) to be removed and tried” in criminal court, said Anazco, who was abused by a priest at a Church-sponsored summer camp in the 1980s.
The network of victims from the Americas said that the pope’s predecessor, Benedict XVI, secretly suspended 400 priests for abusing children, and that they faced Vatican justice without the testimony or knowledge of the victims and their lawyers.
Barbara Blaine, president of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, said via video conference from the United States that Pope Francis should follow the recommendations of the United Nations, which said last year that the Church violated the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The Pope has formally dismissed a former priest convicted of child sexual abuse.
James Donaghy, who is originally from Lady Wallace Drive in Lisburn and served as priest in the west Belfast parish of Corpus Christi in Ballymurphy,  was convicted of several sex abuse charges following trials in 2011 and 2013 and is currently serving a 10-year jail sentence, UTV reports.
Although Donaghy stepped down from his duties in March 2004, Pope Francis has now officially banned him from the ministry.

At his 2011 trial. Donaghy was found guilty of 23 sex abuse charges committed against three teenagers. In 2013, he was convicted of abusing a fourth victim. the court heard he told his young victim he could get his grandfather into heaven as he sexually abused the boy, the BBC reports.
In a statement, Bishop of Down and Connor Noel Treanor said: “The Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith has informed the Diocese of Down and Connor that His Holiness, Pope Francis has dismissed James Donaghy from the clerical state on his own authority and for the good of the Church.
“This means that Mr Donaghy is not permitted to function as a priest under any circumstance, public or private.”

“On behalf of the priests and people of the Diocese of Down and Connor, I again extend my deepest sorrow and apologise to survivors who suffered such pain at the hands of someone in whom they had placed their trust.

“I hope that this decision will assist those affected on their journey towards healing.”
He added: “I assure all that the Diocese remains fully committed to protecting children and vulnerable adults with comprehensive structures of safeguarding in place throughout the diocese supported by specialist personnel and thousands of trained volunteers.

“The Diocese is also committed to bringing healing to the victims of abuse and is conscious of the right to privacy of the victims and will make no further comment.

1-Where are the Legion of Christ pedophiles?

It begins with a C Now Fr. Maciel abused about one hundred of his seminarians. Could have been less but probably more. He was at it from the age of 21 -when he founded the Legion, abusing De la Isla 10-11 year old in the first ESCUELA APOSTOLICA, in Mexico City. Maciel continued on abusing seminarians, Mexicans, Spanish such as Fernandez Amenabar and Irish such as Michael Caheny. Dont have info on Americans. Would not be unusual as Maciel was insatiable and sought variety Will continue later -after I vomit...

Pastor Sexually Assaults woman in congregation

Ajax News Advertiser
DURHAM -- An Ajax man has been charged after a woman was sexually assaulted during church-related counselling, including exorcisms, police said.
Toronto police said that between May of 2011 and May of 2013 the suspect, a pastor at the United Spiritual Baptist Church on Midland Avenue in Scarborough, exploited a woman to whom he provided spiritual counselling. The sessions included performing exorcisms, police said.
It’s alleged that during the sessions the woman was sexually assaulted. The suspect also convinced the woman to give him money and property, police said.
Wayne Marlon Jones, 53, of Ajax is charged with sexual assault and three counts of fraud over $5,000.
Mr. Jones is identified on the United Spiritual Baptist Church website as “Bishop Wayne Jones”. A biography on the site said Mr. Jones was born in Trinidad and Tobago and immigrated to Canada in 1984. The site says he was ordained as a minister in 1987 and the following year “pastured” his own congregation, called the Mt. Ararat Spiritual Baptist Church. He was consecrated as a Bishop in 1990, the site says.
According to the website the church’s services include baptisms, weddings, Bible studies, programs for first-time offenders and Sunday services. There is no mention of exorcisms.
The church is described as a “non-profit charitable organization whose main goal is to promote Christianity”.
A woman who answered a phone number listed on the site Wednesday refused to comment.
Mr. Jones was charged with the offences he now faces in late August of 2014, but police said Wednesday they are concerned there may be more victims.

A Thought on "Victims of Legion awarded $20,000.00 for Sexual Abuse"

One thought on “Victims of the Legion Awarded $20,000 For Sexual Abuse”

Seems like outdated article.

But anyway, what is 20 thousand dollars to compensate for sexual abuse by the Founder of the Millionaires of Christi? A pittance! read my ´Fr. Marcial Maciel, Pedophile, Psychopath and Legion of Christ Founder´.
  • To have your youth destroyed,
  • to be plagued by guilt the rest of your life,
  • to be psycho sexually damaged -to be confused about your sexuality,
  • not to have received proper psychological treatment,
  • to have your abuse denied for decades and
  • to be called a liar and calumniator,
  • to have lost your faith in the Legion, in priests, in the Catholic Church, in Christ, in God…?
  • To have your experience dragged before a commission to prove that you were really abused by Fr. Maciel, the commission not being impartial because there are Legionaries of Christ sitting on the tribunal, to have to be interviewed by members of Fr. Maciel´s order and perhaps by LC´s who were his close aides….who may have known about the abuses and did nothing?
  • And to call this charade justice and charity?
Thank you, Mother Legion, for your belated twenty pieces of silver

Victims of the Legion Awarded $20,000 For Sexual Abuse

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – The Legionaries of Christ will pay more than $20,000 apiece to at least four victims sexually abused by the order’s Mexican founder, Father Marcial Maciel, three years after his death, a spokesman said on Thursday.
Maciel was an influential figure in the Roman Catholic Church who had the ear of the late Pope John Paul II.
But he died in 2008 at the age of 87, disgraced by allegations he sexually abused men and young boys, including a man who said he was Maciel’s son.
The Maciel scandal is just one in a series of revelations about priest sex abuse to rock the Catholic Church.
Founded by Maciel when he was in his early 20s, the Legion is a priestly order that runs private Catholic schools and charitable organizations in 22 countries via its network of 800 priests and 2,600 seminarians.
Accusations that Maciel lived a disturbing double-life, fathered children and was addicted to morphine-like drugs, have weakened the powerful order that boasted members of some of Mexico’s wealthiest families.
Despite years of allegations, Maciel was spared official condemnation until 2006 when Pope Benedict obliged him to retire to a life of “prayer and penitence.”
The payments of between $21,000 and $28,000 will be given to four or five victims and more compensation could follow, said Andreas Schoggl, a spokesman for the Legionaries of Christ in Vatican City.
“It’s a way to repair damage and hopefully it’s a way of healing,” Schoggl said.
The compensation payments are a result of a commission set up in 2010 by the Vatican to probe abuses by Maciel. The sums are modest compared to million-dollar payouts awarded to victims of priest abuse in the United States.
In the largest settlement of its kind, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in 2007 agreed to pay $660 million to 500 victims of sexual abuse dating as far back as the 1940s. The U.S. church has paid $2 billion to victims since 1992.
Schoggl declined to provide details on how many people the commission has interviewed but said at least one of Maciel’s victims is from Mexico
