El irlandés John O’Reilly durante años ha sido el rostro de la Legión de Cristo en Chile y es una de las razones que el movimiento haya entrado de forma tan contundente en la elite empresarial y política. Hombre influyente, O’Reilly vive hoy su peor momento: una apoderada del Colegio Cumbres lo acusa de abusos sexuales contra su hija. El cura se defiende y recién declaró ante la Fiscalía. En esta entrevista habla de la muerte, de Marcial Maciel y su caso.

Since being accused several months ago of sexually abusing a little girl at the Cumbres College in Chile Fr. O'Reilly's life has been a nightmare.

Although I have always sided with  the victims, on this occasion I want to give Fr. O'Reilly, "a fair crack of the whip" and not condemn him prematurely.

Because of the nature of these interviews I decided to post them in parts on this blog, as I am able to translate from the Spanish
